I have seen many questions about "Safe Mode" in the myspace community! So I am going to address them for you all...
The myspace button doesn't restart your computer. It is a option to edit your profile if you can no longer see your "edit" button in the myspace profile editing mode. Look at the picture below when you should use "Safe Mode".
Pressing the "Safe Mode" button just makes all the code you inserted to customize your profile inactive so it cannot affect the rendered page.
